Photographers create styled shoots to dream big and get their creative juices flowing, try new things and push boundaries. But I always found the missing link to be space for connection. The conversations after the shoot, when everyone is just being, are the most profound moments of any event. From this thought process, UNDERCURRENT was born. We make space for creativity and then we make space for nourishing conversation with no agenda. Just laughter, connection and budding new ideas.

I started Cat Haus to create something that didn’t fit the mold: a space for bold vision, personal style, and creativity without compromise – on any budget.

  • We’d love to have you at UNDERCURRENT. You can apply here and we will be in touch within 48 hours with all the details for the event.

  • We have space for up to 12 people to join this round. We like to keep it intimate so everyone feels like they have the space and time to play and be heard.

  • Snacks and drinks during the shoot will be provided, as well as the closing meal at the end of the shoot. Accommodations, travel and any extra food will not be included.

  • We have a sweet discount code for staying at Serana TX for the night if you are driving or flying in. We will send you the code in the welcome email once you have bought your ticket.

  • Yes! The event will be a mock wedding with a two ceremony spaces, a table-scape, flat lay, cake cutting and a late night caviar scene. We are creating one traditional ceremony and one non-traditional, editorial ceremony where we will work on posing and lighting.

  • Right now, we are hosting events once a year around the Austin area.
